Jon Bell started working for the McMillin Companies in 1998 as a senior finance manager on land development and homebuilding projects in Southern California. Jon managed the joint venture equity and lending relationships for each of these single-purpose entities. Additionally, he worked with the acquisition team to underwrite the purchase of master-planned communities and homebuilding operators. Jon assisted in the expansion of McMillin Companies into Imperial Valley, Central California, Texas, and Missouri through the acquisition of five homebuilding operators.

As the Company transitioned out of land development and homebuilding, Jon moved over to the commercial division to oversee the management and development of office, retail, multi-family, and hotel developments located in Southern California. Thereafter, Jon’s role was expanded to assist in the planning and implementation of the 5-year company forecast and reporting to ownership.

In 2021, Jon joined DLM Properties as Finance Director to assist in the expansion of the DLM portfolio and aid in the implementation of standardized policies for joint venture management and reporting. Jon graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance in Real Estate.
